Editorial Policy
Our approach
Every guide is written in plain language for small business owners and learners. We aim to be practical, accurate and honest about uncertainty. Marketing has few universal rules, so we explain trade-offs rather than promise formulas.
Research and sources
Where guidance touches on law or platform rules, we rely on primary public sources such as the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's business guidance, the U.S. Small Business Administration and official platform or tool documentation. We only link to pages we have opened and checked, and we recommend reading the original source for the latest version.
Examples and numbers
- Every scenario featuring a business is hypothetical and labeled as such. We do not present invented case studies as real.
- We do not publish invented statistics, universal benchmarks or fake charts. Any numbers in examples are illustrative only.
- We do not use testimonials, client logos or claimed results.
Who reviews content
Guides are written and reviewed by the BrandwiseMarketing editorial team. We do not claim certifications, awards or affiliations with the organizations we cite.
Dates
Each guide shows a published date and a reviewed date. The reviewed date changes only when we check the guide again against current public guidance.
Images
Images on this site are original illustrative artwork and photographs created for BrandwiseMarketing. They do not show real clients, real campaign data or third-party logos.
Independence
We do not sell services, use affiliate links or accept payment for coverage. Mentions of platforms or tools are for reference and do not imply endorsement.
Corrections
If you spot an error, please tell us through our contact page. We review corrections against public sources and update the guide and its reviewed date when a change is needed.
